It finally happened. BTS released a full length album. And I don't mean 9 songs, a 50 second intro and the instrumental of the lead single like most Korean Albums. They came with 13 songs and an interlude. This is what I have been waiting for. This album is just the starting point for them because people are going to wonder how are they going to top this. But let me get into the actual album before I talk about the future.
The theme of the album is about a break up and wanting to get the girl back. Not all of the songs are like this because Hip Hop lovers is about loving Hip Hop and how it affects their lives. They even name people like Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, KRS One, Rakim, and other great American rappers. Of course the cypher was about the cypher. The usual freestyle with a chorus and a beat and. These cyphers are getting better as the rappers of the group grow and learn their styles. I wasn't expecting a third cypher but I nonetheless loved it.

The title of the album and the presence is Dark and Wild. The lead single Danger gives off the aura of Dark and Wild but In was wondering what else would? What Am I To You does get darker as the song progresses because Rap Monster starts off rapping in his normal fashion and then as the song goes on he gets madder and madder to the point where he's screaming his lyrics so that song is also dark. Besides the cypher nothing else is really dark and wild but that doesn't mean BTS didn't deliver.
I don't really like the name of the album but the album itself was amazing. We got to see all of what BTS is. The Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, and Jaz. There were so many different styles on each song that its hard to say that these guys are big Hip Hop fans. All of the songs are Hip Hop based but they have a little extra flavor with other genres leaking in. For instance Second Grade is like (as someone else put it) Ludacris meets M.I.A. The song is a mix between Hip Hop and Pop and it does it so well. Let Me Know has an R&B feel with the singing parts.
This album from BTS is just amazing. They show off all of their talents from singing, rapping, producing and just being a talented artiest. I hope we don't see BTS until 2015 when they come out with another album or mini album. That way we can see how much they've grown. They have been active for a year and about 3 or 4 months and have released two mini albums, a full length album and a single. I don't want to see anything else from them until 2015 so we can get a new and fresh style. Overall the rating is a 9. This is most likely album of the year in terms of Korea. This is definitely my favorite album of the year and it's not even of my favorite genre.
