There needs to be a new Def Jam fighting game

Once upon a time, there was a company called Def Jam and they were pretty alright.

One year, they decides to release a game called Def Jam Vendetta. It was a rather good fighter for what it was worth. Very arcadey, similar to WWF No Mercy for the N64.

Couple years later, they decide to release a sequel, called Def Jam: Fight For New York, which was actually worked on the guys who did No Mercy (I think. Don't quote me on this.) That game turned out to be one of the best fighting games ever made. 

Why?

Let's start with the premise itself. Rappers fighting each other. It's basically the black equivalent to which comic book character could beat X. As Woolie from Two Best Friends said, "Welcome to Black People: The Game!" 

Oh, gotta mention this. SPOILERS FOR DEF JAM VENDETTA AND FIGHT FOR NEW YORK AFTER THIS POINT.

Next, the story mode. The story picks up directly after the events of Vendetta. DeMob just lost to whoever you pick in Vedetta and is being taken away by police. Little later in the street, You (yeah new character this time and character creation but we'll get into that later) free DeMob from the police and he takes you back to his hangout where Method Man and Red Man are. From that point, you're just trying to take clubs and build up DeMob's empire. 

I like this whole story for the one thing. It's a rags to riches story. You go from being some random guy to being basically the most powerful man in New York. That's that shit I do like. 

ALRIGHT NOW HERE'S WHY THERE NEEDS TO BE A NEW DEF JAM FIGHT GAME

I just want to see a game where I can beat the shit out of Drake as Kendrick. Shit would be mad funny. Fuck it, just make it RAP: THE FIGHTING GAME.

A couple of guys and I talked about it on a episode of one of the many podcasts here (go check 'em out. They're pretty good.) and everyone thought it would be a good idea.

My proposed character list for this would be:

Drake

Kendrick 

Lupe

Lil B 

A$AP Rocky (with A$AP Mob appearing as an assist move)

ScHoolboy Q

Method Man and Red Man (of course)

The reanimated corpse of Snoop (he died in Fight For New York so yeah.)

Lil Wayne (only appearing as an assist attack for Drake)

Nicki Minaj (you need some bitch to fuck in the story mode)

Iggy Azalea (same reason as above)

Jay Z (HOVA! -his laugh-)

Kanye (combined with Jay to make The Throne) (spoiler: they would be the final boss.)

Big Sean (but he'd have the worst stats)

2Chainz (all his moves would be like Kratos from God Of War. Always throwing around TWO CHAINS.)

Kim Kardashian (read Nicki Minaj entry.)

Adele (cause fuck you, that's why.)

Pusha T

DJ Mustard (on the beat hoe)

Tyga (he have the WORST STATS. He's basically a joke character.)

Childish Gambino (two version: The Boy and 'Bino)

Chance The Rapper (does weird ass Kung fu where he yells out IGH and NANANANANANA everytime he throws a punch)

You (two possible ways. One: the character from Fight For New York returns. Or Two: A new kid comes in to take over.)

I'm forgetting people but I don't really care. This would probably be the best game ever made and I would get millions of bitches on my dick since I came up with it.

I have no idea what the story for this would be since I've only thought about gameplay and stuff.

But yeah, there really should be a new Def Jam game.
